We all have a story to tell.

You get the idea, right?
I am looking to partner with women of all ages, with a diverse range of backgrounds, stories and journeys.
The project has begun as a collection of images captured by me (Sarah), partnered with words, written by the women themselves.
Some day it will come together as a book, but for now each of the stories stand alone.
I can hear you all now... "There's nothing interesting about my story, it has no value, it's no worse that what anyone else has been through." I call bullshit. I want ALL the stories.

We are Women has begun as a collection of images captured by me (Sarah), partnered with words, written by the women themselves.
Some day in the near future it will come together as a book, but for now each of the stories stand alone.
You can see our first story, released with the launch of the project on International Women's Day, on our blog.
I am looking for women of all ages, with a diverse range of stories, backgrounds, and ethnicity to participate in the project.
If you are chosen to participate in We are Women, I will call you to chat in person, listen to your story, and in turn to organise your portrait session.
The portrait session is free, and will take place within the Sydney/Blue Mountains area (but will consider travelling so please ask). You will receive an online gallery to view the images and to say thank you for participating in the project you will receive your favourite image as a 5x7″ matted print, as well as a signed copy of any book produced. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase more from your session if you’d like to, but there is no obligation.
All I ask in return is that you agree to the use of any images captured being used to promote the project, across social media, in marketing materials and of course in any book that is produced as part of the project.
