Hayley and Brent's Waldara Farm Wedding // Sydney Photographer

Updated: Sep 7, 2020

Hayley and Brent met at their local pub when Brent’s buddy was trying to convince him to start chatting with one of Hayley’s friends, he enlisted Hayley’s help with the task and instead Hayley and Brent hit it off – and we are so happy they did!

While on holidays in Singapore Brent took Hayley out to dinner at the restaurant at the top of the Marina Bay Sands. Brent had arranged for Hayley’s dessert plate to come out decorated with the words “Will You Marry Me?”

While Hayley was looking down at the plate in shock, Brent got down on one knee. He was so nervous about the proposal that he was holding the ring box upside down! Of course, Hayley said yes, and the entire restaurant applauded.

In preparation for the big day Hayley and her mother shopped for her wedding gown together. The first time she tried on her wedding gown from Miss Stella York she and her mum cried, and they knew it was the one.

Hayley and Brent had visited Waldara Farm near Oberon for a tour of the property and fell in love immediately. The DIY aspect of the venue was a huge bonus for Hayley as it meant that they could have exactly what they wanted on their special day. Tying the knot at Waldara on a rainy day made for some absolutely beautiful photos.

Hayley’s fondest memory of the wedding day was their first dance as a married couple, “It was perfect, as if we were the only two people in the world”

We were so thrilled that Hayley and Brent chose us to capture their wedding day along with the fabulous videographers Mountain Folk Films. It's always a buzz when couples love our work enough to have us tell their story.

Tim met with Hayley and Brent for a pre-wedding portrait session a few weeks prior to the wedding day, to capture some gorgeous photos, have a chat about the timeline, and get to know one another a little - which takes all the awkward out of the big day.

"Tim was so accommodating and relaxed. He really brought out the best in us and the photos look fantastic!”

We asked Hayley which of her vendors (aside from us of course) she could not have done without and she highly recommended the wonderful people over at Hangree Catering (how cool is their name!!)

Hayley and Brent finished off the night with an uber romantic sparkler exit.
