"I would really love some lovely photos of the three of us as a family unit."

Authentic Family Portraits

Skye contacted us looking for a photographer in the Blue Mountains who could capture authentic moments of her and her girls.

Skye's husband passed away in November of 2018, he loved the outdoors and photography and enjoyed taking beautiful photos of his girls. His death was sudden, and as you can imagine left a very large hole in his family's life. It has taken time for them to adjust to the new family unit and Skye thought it was time to have some new memories captured.

We are so honoured that Skye chose us to help her create some memories with her girls. Together we decided that a sunset shoot at Lincolns Rock would be perfect, as they all love the outdoors, and live in the Blue Mountains themselves.

Sarah met with Skye, Taylor and Ashley on a cool Autumn evening where they were blessed with a break from the torrential rain that had kept us all housebound for days. It was cold and windy for the most part, but at one point the sun came out from behind a cloud and beamed down onto us as the girls held one another, laughed, giggled and played with bubbles.

It was as though Nathan was watching his gorgeous girls and sent down a ray of sun during the session.

"Thank you so much for all of these beautiful images. You have a true gift and they are more than I could have hoped for. I had tears in my eyes looking through these this morning."
