Christie & Lai-Meng's romantic wedding in the Blue Mountains
Updated: Aug 28, 2018
Love is love...

What an absolute privilege to be asked to photograph one of the first same sex marriages in Australia for the gorgeous Christie and Lai-Meng merely weeks after same sex marriage was legalised in this country.
It was a particularly special day our couple chose to be married - being their 20th Anniversary. This was the perfect celebration of love and commitment.
Both stunningly dressed in crisp white our couple chose a traditional tea ceremony to begin the proceedings of the day in the beautiful location of Allview Escape in the Blue Mountains.
After lots of tears of joy and special moments in the outdoor wedding ceremony with their guests looking on, our couple danced to Jai-Ho with their family and friends immediately after their ceremony.
It was a great opportunity for us as their official photographers to move amongst the wedding guests and take some beautiful candid wedding photos. Everyone was so relaxed and enjoying the idyllic surrounds of the Blue Mountains and all it has to offer.
We took some time after the formalities to take family group photos and then take a stroll with Christie & Lai- Meng around Allview Escape for the professional wedding photos.
Every wedding is unique...We absolutely love when our couples let us guide them through their wedding photography and just let the day unfold. It allows us to create natural and emotive images that are truly authentic.
After some fun during the location photography, a delicious wedding lunch was waiting for us all prepared by the amazing Red Pepper Catering in the garden under the trees overlooking the escarpments of the Blue Mountains.
Congratulations to our gorgeous couple Christie & Lai-Meng. We are so pleased to be able to share such a special and historic union of marriage with you.
If you are getting married and wanting professional photography for your same sex marriage in Sydney or your destination wedding speak to us today about your special plans and how we can capture it for you. We would love to hear all about it.
