Let's hear it for all the dads out there!
As a nation we invest loads of time, effort and money into Mother's Day so...
Let's take a moment to celebrate fathers in all their diversity...
Dads come in all shapes and sizes there are the fun dads, fit dads, new dads, divorced dads, adoptive dads, stay-at-home dads, dads of twins or triplets and work-their-fingers-to-the-bone-dads. We all only have one Dad! So what are you doing this Father's Day to celebrate your Dad and show him how much you love him?
Whatever category he fits into (or maybe he needs a category of his own!) these fathers will always, always, have some things in common:
- awesome offspring
- lack of sleep
- unconditional love for their pint-sized offspring
- the question "did I really sign up for this??!"
- the realisation that insomnia and coffee aren't always the best combination!
When it comes to the crunch, each dad is perfect in his imperfection...an ordinary man turned into a hero by the love and cuddles (and even puddles!) of his offspring.
A father learns to live each day by the heart
A father is a son's first hero, and a daughter's first love.
The best advice a dad can give his child? "Don't tell mum" !!
A father is someone who displays the qualities he needs his child to emulate and allows his child to learn
A father is someone who can be looked up to no matter how tall you grow.
